Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The Software Development Test Engineer will work closely with other developers, program managers and testing to improve the quality of new and sustaining products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in the software development process, working closely with other developers, program managers, and testing groups to continually improve the quality of our products.
*
Build a deep understanding of the way our products are designed, developed, and used by our customers.
*
Design, develop, and implement testing strategies for our products.
*
Determine and document root causes of issues found during testing.
*
Design and build test automation, tools, and libraries to help us test more efficiently.
*
Troubleshoot and support problems uncovered by manufacturing and field service teams.
*
Perform complex technical tasks to assist other engineers with software and system design.

A strong desire to constantly find smarter and more creative ways to test our products so we can continue providing the best quality of care to our patients.

Detail oriented with a strong understanding of software and software testing.
*
Programming experience in C#, C++, or Java.
*
General computer science knowledge, includingoperating systems, software systems, and networking.
*
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
*
Strong mathematic skills.
*
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Education
*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or other technical, science, or Engineering degree.
Experience
*
0-3 years work experience.
