Description

The Body Composition Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving and managing business targets, while developing and maintaining effective customer relationships for DXA equipment within the Body Composition market space. The Body Composition Sales Specialist will be the subject matter expert for body composition assessment by DXA for the Skeletal Health Solutions team. Build strong relationships with stakeholders which uncover key opinion leaders and collaborate with team members to meet the needs of the customer while driving to the national DXA product quotas. Work closely with product management to ensure marketing programs are communicated effectively to the field. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key thought leaders in their region and keep abreast of and leverage knowledge of the field, pertinent technology and new procedures to develop business opportunities. Facilitate introductions and provide product demonstrations with Nutritionists, Dieticians, Strength & Conditioning Coaches, athletic department personnel, clinical faculty and other stakeholders in order to win in this category. Report competitive intel and market dynamics/trends on an ongoing basis to sales colleagues, marketing, and sales leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

  • Knowledge of the body composition market and experience selling to the industry is important.

  • Experience selling athletic performance monitoring equipment is a plus.

Education

  • College Degree Preferred (BS, BA)

Experience

  • A 5+ years track record of high sales performance (Top 20% of peers year over year) has even higher weight.

  • Clean driving record and ability to travel domestically.

  • Position will be based within the Northeast Area, with potential for travel outside the Northeast Area.
