As a result of our continuing growth, we now have an immediate requirement for a National Sales Manager - Iberia to join our business between Madrid and Barcelona, Spain on a Permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage, coach and develop the direct report team (9 KAM + 1 Application Specialist Lead (manages 5 Application Specialists);

  • Work with the Regional Business Director Southern Europe (RBD) and Vice President Diagnostics EMEAC (VP) to develop regional region’s business plans and strategies.

  • Assist the RBD and VP with annual budget submission

  • Translate the defined strategy to a tactical plan

  • Responsible for the execution for an agreed revenue target for the region on a quarterly basis

  • Increase sales and profit margins and develop market share within Iberia

  • Maximize revenue from all existing and new accounts

  • Develop and work alongside with the marketing division/s on marketing plans and activities to support and achieve revenue targets and prepare the necessary activities to achieve reimbursement of the new products

  • Develop strong cross departmental communication between Marketing, finance and Customer service/field service

  • Prepare monthly sales reports as directed by RBD/VP.

  • Generate sales forecast (as and when required)

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts/customers and KOLs

  • Co-ordinate liaison between region and other Company business units. (e.g. Finance, Customer service, HR)

  • Represent company at conferences and trade association meetings

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor in Science, Economics or Business is a must, Master level is highly preferable

  • Strong Business acumen and successfully grew the Business

  • Experience in the diagnostics (cytology, molecular) sector is a plus

  • Strong managerial, coaching developing the skill set of the direct Team

  • Strong presentation skills with detailed technical content ability

  • Analytical

  • Entrepreunrial and able to come with innovative ideas when working with Limited resources

  • Able to work in a matrix environment on a European Level

  • Spanish mother tongue and fluent English is a must

  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time
