Summary of Duties and Responsibilities


TheClinical Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting sales of complex technical products and solutions. Responsible for providing the formal technical and clinical support during the entire sales process .They are responsible for driving profitable growth for the entire MR Channel, through direct or indirect channels. This role collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Application Specialists and the Software Team. This position is based out of Europe.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Maximize sales orders, margin, market share and customer satisfaction of MR modality and business solutions
*
Provide technical and clinical support during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including technical specifications, potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed
*
Develop good long-term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction whilst utilizing the optimum level of resources in the team
*
Support sales of assigned product range and business solutions to customers within area
Organize product demonstrations, sites visits and follow up
*
Prepare and co-ordinate the tender response and validate the tender documentation in collaboration with territory manager
*
Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
*
Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies
*
Track market effectively and provide accurate current and forecasts data using information tools available
*
Communicate market information effectively to/from the field including competitor data
*
Communicate effectively with members of sales/marketing/service team to maximize all sales potential and communicates leads to relevant colleagues
*
Generates, record and maintain customer profiles, including keeping track of key decision makers
*
Ensures knowledge of and compliance with Company policies and quality processes

Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time within Europe and overseasas required


Qualifications

Requirements:
· 2 – 5 years experience in Healthcare market, sales or marketing
· Strong clinical MR experience (Imaging, Image Quality, MR Physics knowledge); Breast MR experience preferred
· MRI experience working with GE, Siemens and Toshiba scanner systems
· Willingness and ability to travel within specified geographical region
· Strong selling skills
· Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired)
· Effective negotiating skills
· Excellent multilingual verbal and written communication skills; following languages preferred:
· German, Spanish, French and English.
· Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Education



Experience


Desired Characteristics:
· Team working skills (incl. Ability to harness resources to achieve goal)
· University degree – preferable in Medicine, Engineering, Economy and administration
· Technical expertise in MR and Radiology
· Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)
· Clinical experience in large hospital/university setting preferred
