Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Role
Responsible for the promotion and sales of Hologic’s diagnostic technology to laboratories in assigned geographic territory within Japan.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Exceed quota on all assigned product lines
* Place instrumentation by effectively selling to prospects and customers
* Effectively block competitive activity and convert competitive accounts to Hologic
* Develop and achieve an accurate sales forecast and plan for allproducts
* Attend local and national professional trade shows and events and promote product to prospective customers
* Develop and execute an effective sales strategy within the territory by leveraging all available resources
* Support marketing, clinical development and field service activities

Qualifications

* Laboratory sales experience preferred
* Wholesaler management experience preferred
* History of excellent sales performance
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
* Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and other popular business software desirable
* English language skills a plus

Education


* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

Experience


*
Minimum of three years medical capital sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Specialized Knowledge


· Based on territory, overnight travel and work on weekends may be required to effectively grow territory sales
