The Associate Product Manager is responsible formanaging the integrated marketing programs and projects, including public relations, social media, advertising, professional marketing, and other channels, to reach business-critical audiences and fulfill our vision of globally transforming patient care through insight-driven, innovative solutions. This position will develop and manage integrated marketing programs built on brand positioning that help promote and create brand awareness. Individual in this role will plan and execute the development of lead-generation activities such as online advertisements, webcasts, direct-mail campaigns and websites, and will be assisting the Director of Integrated Brand Marketing with external vendors and/or public relations agencies and identify outlets for press releases regarding the Hologic brand and Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions (BSHS) products. He/She will be a strong cross-functional leader who will help develop an integrated marketing capability for the BSHS marketing organization.

Summaryof Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developand execute integrated marketing campaigns

  • Researchindustry trends and social media/engagement tools for strategic use inintegrated marketing campaigns.

  • Helpdevelop brand definition architecture.

  • Managethe creation of messaging strategy and programming/integrated communications.

  • Supportthe launch of new products with aligned positioning and integratedcommunications strategy for customers and patients.

  • Createand implement online and offline integrated marketing campaigns

  • Collaboratewith product teams, marketing groups, leadership, and outside agencies tostrategize and implement online campaigns in support of strategic plans. Ensure effective messaging and placementwhile maximizing budgeted spend.

  • Developand execute a social media strategy that leverages both PR and advertising todrive brand and product awareness.

  • Manageonline marketing content to ensure relevancy to target audiences and geographicpage rankings.

  • Maximizethe value of search engines to improve paid and organic search rankings forrelevant search terms, including creating fresh content, keyword enhancements,inbound link campaigns, and other Search Engine Optimization bestpractices.

  • Managestrategic use of websites including integration of social media, search engineoptimization and analytics. Ensure all web activities support broader marketinginitiatives; use digital channels to reinforce marketing campaigns.

  • Manageagencies (PR, advertising, production house).

  • Createand implement public relations tactics to deliver messages to various audiencesvia non-paid media channels, such as newspapers, magazines and broadcast TV andradio news.

  • Managecreative development and production (internal resources and outside agencies).

  • CreateROI

  • Measurestrategic impact of integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Analyzereturn-on-investment to ensure integrated marketing efforts are achievingdesired results.

  • Utilizeanalytics to develop greater understanding of segment-specific customerbehaviors; leverage insights into increasingly impactful campaigns.

  • ManageCross-functional teams

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to help buildintegrated marketing capability.

  • Lead by example through objective setting,performance management, regular communication and feedback.


· Strong understanding of the healthcare system

· Global medical device economics and pricing knowledge

· Demonstrated competitive and strategic mindset

· Ability to lead through influence, operate in a complex matrix environment, and be a role model to team members.


· MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in business or a scientific discipline are required.



· 3+ years of post-MBA experience in marketing/brand management

· P&L management

· Success in developing integrated marketing campaigns

· Strong track record of developing and executing social media and PR strategies

· Experience in consumer and/or patient marketing

· Experience in people and cross-functional team management

· Record of leveraging analytics to create effective integrated marketing programs


· Medical device marketing experience
