Job Summary

  • Oversee and coordinate activities of warehousepersonnel to ensure that all material is received, stored, and distributed in amanner that preserves their quality, supports all requirements and maintainshealth and safety practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may beasked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the belowmentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Monitors, maintains, and adjusts storage layout,design, and capacity as needed.

  • Ensures desired level of inventory accuracy andreview inventory transactions for data integrity.

  • Oversees daily cycle count program and publishesresults. Reconciles to correct data and implements corrective action.

  • Maintains inventory location accuracy as well astransaction data integrity.

  • Coordinates flow of material including shortage fillsto support the Master Production Schedule and other demands as requested on atimely basis.

  • Works with other departments to ensure stockroomreplenishment triggers are set up correctly and adjusted as needed.

  • Ensures that all incoming material is processed on adaily basis.

  • Ensures that material handlers are meeting orexceeding the daily kit picking objectives.

  • Coordinates implementing Engineering Change Ordersand takes appropriate action to control configuration of products and inventoryintegrity.

  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment forstockroom staff.

  • Ensure that design, implementation, test andmaintenance methods/processes are developed and executed in a manner, whichsupports all Hologic Quality Standards.

  • Employs and controls processes to support FIFO andother GMP methods

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. College degreepreferred.

Experience

  • Minimum fiveyears warehouse management experience

  • Minimum 3 years people management including performance management, compensation, and merit review

Skills

  • Knowledgeable in good inventorytechniques and various inventory computer systems and applications

  • Basic Knowledge of Excel and Power Point (Create Graphs and Charts)

  • Ability to present Warehouse Data to Senior Management

  • Experience with Lean Inventory or Lean practices
