Job Summary

The Hologic IS Collaboration team is seeking a Collaboration Solutions Analyst. This role will focus primarily on ServiceNow and will have exposure to other collaboration solutions. The technical aspect of the role will assist with day-to-day administration, workflow management, and report creation within ServiceNow. This individual will document business use cases, analyze and coordinate this work with our development teams. This role requires the individual to remain current on industry trends as they pertain specifically on collaboration, ITSM, ITIL, and vendor solution capabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administration, management, and maintenance of ServiceNow.

  • Support of SharePoint, Box, Nintex and Office 365.

  • Aid in the analysis/requirements gathering, design, configuration, implementation/testing, and support of collaboration solutions.

  • Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions within the proper collaboration platform.

  • Troubleshoot issues; document findings/root cause/solutions/fixes and work within team and other IS resources.

  • Function as a liaison between IS and business partners; serve as the primary point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.

  • Discern between the various collaboration solution technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify configurable and out-of-the box items and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.

  • Help facilitate collaboration solution adoption by business partners through outreach, training, and other applicable mediums.

  • Provide input for the collaboration solutions product roadmap.

  • Contribute to the improvement of processes and policies within all the collaboration solutions.

  • Coordinate external development workload, ensuring solutions are to specification and delivered timely.

  • Create and execute test scripts ensuring applications function within requirements.

  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the collaboration solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to comfortably speak technically and operationally to appropriate audiences.

  • Solid data analysis skill, taking information from various sources, with ability to analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.

  • Ability to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases.

  • Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal business colleagues to analyze information needs and functional requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality.

  • Understanding of relational databases.

Education/Professional Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • ITIL v.3 certification or training.

Experience :

  • 5+ years of IS experience within a customer facing role.

  • Experience with ServiceNow (Jakarta or later)

  • Experience with Collaboration solutions including – SharePoint, Box, and Office 365

  • Knowledge of networking and cloud solutions.

  • Hands on technical experience of LDAP/Active Directory, and relevant IS architecture.

  • Experience with workflow management tools such as ServiceNow, Nintex, or similar workflow management solutions.

  • Experience with report creation leveraging PowerBI, Performance Analytics, Qlik, Splunk, or similar BI tools.
