Reporting to the Senior Director of HR for Hologic’s GYN Surgical Solutions Division (GSS), the HR Manager is responsible for driving a performance-oriented agenda rooted in talent development and employee engagement. As a trusted business partner to each of the functions encompassed within the Division (Sales, Marketing, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development and Sales Operations), the HR Manager will work with leaders on organizational/business needs including leadership effectiveness and change management. A consultative approach and the ability to influence root cause, solution-driven outcomes will be paramount.

  • Partner with corporate HR to drive the development and implementation of integrated solutions that enable performance and ensure operational excellence.

  • Consult with business leaders to attract, retain and motivate talent, particularly leaders, in an extremely competitive recruiting environment.

  • Exercise excellent analytical and influencing skills to ensure effective corporate HR services for the GSS Division.

  • Lead employee relations activities, recommend processes and tools and advise best practices to ensure consistency across business functions and optimal outcomes for both the Division and its employees.

  • Align business and HR strategy with an emphasis on identifying and developing the key talent management levers which will enable business success.

  • In conjunction with the Senior Director, manage company-wide HR related programs including salary review, workforce planning, succession planning and talent management.

To perform this job successfully, the HR Manager must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelors Degree in HR Management or related field

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years of experience supporting a commercial sales organization

  • HR Generalist knowledge/experience in performance management, employee relations, compensation and organizational effectiveness

  • Strategic planning, organizational development and consulting skills to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders

  • Ability to manage a high-energy, fast-paced client organization which includes a 200+ field-based sales organization
