Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leverages multiple data points to generate and refresh Forecasts by SKU/Location, including statistical models, attachment rates, install base (IB), product trends, quality data, and item revisions/ECO’s
Influences the item A/B/C stratification and aligns service level targets for each
Supports the optimization of Inventory strategy at FG level, aligned with above parameters, to achieve a 98% blended service level
Owns, manages, and updates the Service Parts Global Supply Plan that drives MRP for Procurement (buy) & Plant (make) execution
Owns, manages, and updates the Distribution Center plans (DRP) to properly deploy inventory into the global DC and FS Trunk Stock network
Supports Production Planning, Production, & Procurement teams in driving supplier on-time delivery & build plan adherence
Minimizes excess & obsolete inventory through rigorous stock re-balancing
Lead and Manage Inventory, Service Level, and Freight mode optimization projects as needed
Ensure that design, implementation, test and maintenance methods/processes are developed and executed in a manner which supports all Hologic Quality Standards.
Supports FS Cycle count processes
Drives the Planning maturity for Service Parts, including causal forecasting, leveraging connectivity (IoT) and predictive analytics to continually enhance forecast accuracy

Forecast Accuracy (MAPE & Bias)
APICS certification desired
Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with changing levels of priority due to customer and field service demands
Oracle ERP Experience, and/or best-in-class Planning tools (Baxter, Kinaxis, etc.) highly desirable
Requires considerable interpretation of data, independent judgment, and good analytical ability to handle varied situations
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions
Demonstrated skills interacting at various levels of an organization
Experience implementing new business processes and supporting organizational change
Strong analytical and problem solving skills including statistical analysis
Knowledge of operations/manufacturing systems, including S&OP/MRP concepts is
Proficiency PC/Window – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of five years Planning experience
Knowledge of MPS, MRP, capacity planning, and production control
Oracle ERP, Planning, ASCP preferred
Baxter Prophet Planning Software preferred
SC Planning or ERP Software implementation experience is desirable
