Hologic is seeking an outstanding Senior Director candidate to lead a core franchise in our Diagnostics Division. Successful candidates will have extensive successful new product launch and organic/base business growth in U.S. and International markets. Experience across multiple categories and channels (e.g., Diagnostics, Pharma, Consumer Healthcare and/or Consumer Packaged Goods) is a major positive differentiator. Candidate should be viewed as successor to V.P., Worldwide Marketing of Diagnostics and/or other V.P. level leadership roles across Hologic.
Establish, lead and grow a highly effective team in the development and execution of brand marketing strategies designed toexceedbusiness goals and objectives.
Identify, rationalize and execute on growth opportunities that allow mid and long term market and business growth of the product franchise.
Develop a vision for product positioning built on the target profile, key claims and documented market insight.
Responsible for global strategy and tactical product marketing and financial performance.
Develop and execute competitive strategies based on thorough competitive intelligence and market analysis
Lead the annual business planning exercise for the respective product portfolio development and commercial execution of new products into global markets.
Establish and measure KPI’s on an ongoing basis to monitor and adjust global commercial execution to meet or exceed plan.
Trouble-shoot and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve critical issues that impact the portfolio
Motivate, manage, coach and mentor direct reports, including recruitment, performance and talent management.
Primary interface for major global markets, particularly the US and European markets.
Ensure that milestones are met in line with finance, people and time allocations.

Experienced leader with proven results in leading teams, making authoritative business decisions, and accounting for results.
Highly accountable, with experience in managing complex projects with ambitious milestones under pressure, having accomplished milestones on time and on budget.
Experience in global launch is highly valued.
Relevant molecular diagnostic experience is helpful but not mandatory.
BA/BS in Business Administration or Science required; MBA, PhD, or advanced degree and experience are preferred
Minimum of 12+ years related business experience with proven track record in commercial and/or sales management at the regional level, global marketing, and product development leadership roles within clinical diagnostic, medical device or pharmaceutical companies. Diagnostic marketing experience considered a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
