Area Business Director, East - Surgical Solutions

The Area Business Director (ABD) manages all sales activities in a geographic region for NovaSure, MyoSure, and Aquilex by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate Regional Managers.

  • Coordinates sales distribution by collaborating with VP of Sales in establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals, and advises distributors and clients concerning sales

  • Provides strategic planning for sales growth and drives key corporate marketing initiatives Acts as a bridge to Corporate for communication, acting as a liaison between sales department and other sales related units

  • Lead a team of 4-6 Regional Managers each having a sales team of 7-10 reps

  • Assigns sales territories to sales personnel and manages forecasts for key product groups

  • Directs recruiting, staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop talent

  • Approves pricing in line with delegation of authority

  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal documents

  • Represents company with high-profile thought leaders within assigned Region in the field of gynecology or pathology

  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote Hologic

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree required

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 7 years related experience

  • 3 years supervisory experience required
