JOB SUMMARY

As Accounts Payable Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure delivery of all aspects of purchase ledger including invoice and expense processing and payments. You will supervise a team of 7 with 3 direct report

The successful candidate will be conscientious with lots of initiative, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to use good judgment in decision making. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of effectively dealing with people at all levels

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the UK, Italian and Spanish ledgers

  • Manage 3 direct reports including performance review process

  • Managing weekly reports i.e. invoices on hold, invoices not approved, expense approvals, cash flow forecast

  • Liaise with warehouse re delivery of goods

  • Managing price discrepancies on invoices Auditing employee expense claims including ensuring adherence to Hologic’s travel policy

  • Manage Corporate Credit Card Program (EMEA), including onboarding and training new card holders

  • Responsible for the AP Monthly Close and ensure all Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed timely

  • Provide input to the accruals and prepayments process

  • Drive continual improvement in the AP process and payments controls

  • Produce monthly KPI’s and volume statistics

  • Responsible for the completion of month end activity for all legal entities

  • Hands on approach to support the team during periods of high volume on invoice processing and payments

  • Support AP Manger to drive best practice and improved processes and efficiencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5 GCSE’s or equivalent qualifications including Maths & English
